Inveskin was created as a professional cosmetics division within INVES BIOFARM Laboratories, a research institute focused on biotechnology and drug development for rare diseases. Its extensive research into the skin and its repair processes has been applied to various medical devices, drugs and cosmetic products, providing innovative dermatological solutions.
In 2012, the company was established and the manufacturing facility located in the Health Technology Park was built, obtaining the necessary approval to manufacture cosmetics.
Inves Biofarm is authorised by AEMPS to manufacture and import cosmetics and medical devices. It holds ISO 9001, 22716 and 13485 certifications.
The Institute for Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Orphan Drug Research or Inves Biofarm for short, was founded in 2012 and is located in the Parque Tecnológico de la Salud de Granada, in a collaborative environment with the University of Granada, various research centres, companies and the San Cecilio University Clinic Hospital.
It has a young team of health scientific professionals with experience in biotech cosmetics and medical devices, and has focused its work on research into dermal regeneration products.
Inves Biofarm’s founding objective is to research rare diseases in close collaboration with patient associations and their researchers.
